Anyone else hunting this crazy wind?? My work week ended when I hit 40 hours at 11:15 today , so I stopped by mickeyD's for a McRib, went home and watched Duck Commander, then hit the woods. I hunted a stand that I hadn't hunted yet this year and one that I THOUGHT would have a little protection from the wind. No such luck. My tree swayed so bad that I was actually a little seasick. All I saw was crappieman on his 4-wheeler, 6 toms, and a yearling doe. None were within range. Here's a quick clip from the stand. Click to view...

Odd, I never see much deer movement on a windy day, seen 14 doe and 1 lil buck. So much happened while I was in the stand, its gona be one of those stories that get repeated every year while getting pumped up for season again.

Seems like they don't care what's going on during the rut.
