well I got my beagle pups, what should I start learning them? There 2 months old and I've been throwing hotdog peices around the yard and letting them smell and find it.But what can I start learning them now that I got them.Any replies appreciated and any schedules are fine about feeding or exercising etc.

Cool! Congrats on the pups. Got any pictures of them to share with us?

I would find someone with and older dog and take them out in the field. We always had and older dog around, who works slower, to get the pups started..With Beagles there isn't a lot to teach them as far as rabbits are concerned. It is usually natural, bread in them to run rabbits, so if you put them in a area with and older experienced dog they will pick it right up..Usually by 6-8 weeks old..Sounds young..but they can be ready to start. Good Luck..

Get someone with a older dog hunt with them because the pups watch and learn from the older dog.
