Chase had a fork horn at 18 yards but that's all we saw. On the way home we saw about 30 doves in the sunflower plot so we went back with the Benelli. Chase went 0 for 2 and I went 1 for 1.

This evening we went to set along the bean field and a buck was already out there. He wasn't quite what Chase was looking for, so we waited a while and he left and we were able to set up along the field. We had deer in front of us almost the whole time, including the small buck that decided to come back. We really thought one of the big boys would come out just before dark, but a car pulled up and parked at the end of the field just before sunset. >:(
