New State record muskie caught and released.
It has been reported to Indiana DNR that a 45 inch muskie has been caught and released from Bass lake in the Greene-Sullivan State Forest. This is in the Dugger unit. Clinton Gallager who fish'es the area alot reported the catch. He did not release any other details. IDNR Fisheries biologist Dave Kittaka said it is most likely the fish was caught in March or April of 2011.
The complete article is in last Sunday's Hoosier Times Newspaper from Bloomington, in the outdoors section.

That was a nice fish, but not even close to the state record. The record is over 42lbs, this one is MAYBE 32. It was caught March 26th.
