never hunted before but one of the guys in my apartments bowhunts and said i could come with him this year in bow season and hunt or just sit and watch deer with him ive always been into watching hunting vids just never had anyone to go with or anything also him and sons always donate their deer to a processor that uses them to feed the needy so we'll see how it goes ill keep you guys posted

I take back my b4 post...most mainline bows out there today will will get the job done, llong brace height+forgiving for a new shooter, speed is important (but overdone alot), if the time comes go to several archery shops, shoot alot of different bows, and whatever one YOU like and are willing to spend for. Mathews, PSE, Hoyt and Bowtech seem to be the 5 most popular.Martin, Darton, Diamond, Reflex, High Country,
Parker, Red Head, hoyt, bear. There are alot of names out there. All will kill deer.
