hey guys i need some more help. its time for some new boots and i need boots that are warm and waterproof for the season. should i get like the rubber high boots

well those are water proof, but even with the insulated inserts, their not that warm. If you really want a good pair, go to a military surplus store, and get a set of GORTEX insulated combat boots. You wont regret it.

I've heard alot of good things about gore-tex boots. I have a pair of insulated Lacrosse boots that I love. Best boots I've owned. They are kinda pricey but I think all good boots are.

heres the thing, i cross a river so they will be soaked, will those boots still keep my feet dry?

yes. as long asthey are laced good and tight, the only moisture in them will be from your sweaty feet.
