We decided to do a little bass fishing this evening so we headed to Midland Lake on Hillenbrand FWA that's about a mile from the house. The water was crystal clear. I was throwing a deep crankbait and you could still see it way down there. I saw something take a swipe at it and miss but it came back and I reeled in this nice bass. Dad was throwing a 10.5" worm most of the time just catching dinks shorter than his worm. We tried everything from buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and brushhogs but the rest of the evening was filled with around a dozen dinks. Water was 88-89 degree. Only decent catch, an ol' one eyed bass.
