The thing I hate the most about a well above average temperature during early archery is risk of spoilage. We like to process our own deer but without a freezer it makes it nearly impossible when it's overly hot.

Ditto. Just last season I could've killed several does in the first couple of weeks but the heat prevented me from wanting to try it

IDK bout the heat till it gets closer to bow opening,But i do know etheir way ill be in the woods hunting.Might have to bring some bug spray along,but ill be their,Just need to get me some new pin sight for a bow my dad gave me years ago,it has the old 3 metal pins,but i want to upgrade it to fiber/glow light pins. Any one have one they want to sale? nothing i need yet but ill need it soon. think i saw some @ walmart for round $32

got pic, as i had a doe last year get so close i could of jump on her,but i miss due to my pins & my good bow got stole a year back, So now im useing a old bow my dad gave me on fathers day years years back & now he pass away back in april so im bring the bow back to life.
