it would be cool to kill a unique colored yote. I've heard of black ones too. that would be really cool to take. would probably have to mount a black one.

Weather permitting, we'll be meeting up with yoteslayer Monday or Tuesday and try to put another one down on video.

Me and Mike declared war with the yotes, but they won this battle. We didn't see anything but we still had fun out there.

what kind of shooting sticks are you guys using? I've covered the name up with camo tape on mine, but I'm pretty sure they're called Stoney Point Steady Stix.

Started off using a bipod but i had a coyote pop out right beside once. Bipod leg got caught up in some grass when i went to swing around on him. By time i got the leg out of the brush he was in 5th gear cutting out on me. Threw up a couple wild shots but he got away unscathed. Shooting sticks are the way to go because you can always drop the stix if you need to swing to the left or right on a dog.

If the conditions are right, yoteslayers gonna come down and we'll try to put the hurts on the local yote population this week. I'm ready to see that new AR in action! My nephew, who's a farmer, stopped by for some cold ones the other night and he's got some river bottom property that we can call. I'm gonna try to get with him this week so he can show me around. Him and his dad saw more coyotes than deer this year, so it should be a hot spot!
