Chase and me will be trying it again tomorrow morning. We had planned to go this morning, but the wind was a little too strong. Our buddy we hunt with won't go unless the conditions are just right. I guess that's one of the reasons he's so successful. He has some new properties lined up for us to hunt, so hopefully we'll find some 'yotes that haven't been called to yet. Mike....If you're reading this....Sign Up! It only takes a minute and we need a predator expert on here!

No luck for us this morning. Made 4 stands and did enough walking to wear this ol' fat guy out. On the last stand my buddy switched the foxpro to "crow fight" and took his frustrations out on a crow that was dumb enough to land.

Mike and me are gonna give it another try in the morning. Time is running out and we'd like to get another kill on tape. If things go well I'll post some pics.

Sweet! Our season is over at the end of march. Too bad I'm only home 2 days until then and no such luck on hunting.

Got it done today. Sort of... Three minutes into our first stand a nice looking female came in and Mike put an awesome shot on it. Too bad his cameraman didn't get a good shot. I was setup a little behind him and thought about moving, but I thought an over the shoulder shot would look pretty cool. I was left with one little blind spot right behind Mike's head, and guess where the coyote stopped? I'll chalk this one up to a learning experience. I know I won't setup again where I can't see everything the hunter can. The yote hunters... Right before the shot. The yote ran past the call and stops right behind Mike's head.

I'm going this weekend [march 13th] for coyote. Probably going to use my Ruger 10/22.

I still havent decided if I'm going to use it yet. Might just pick up some slugs or 00 buckshot for my 12ga. We are going all day. I'm in college so I dont work. I travel an hour from home to school, so there really isnt a point of me getting a job, seeing how I wont be able to work often. But we are going friday afternoon/night, probably all day saturday. My cousin heard one last night and asked me if I wanted to go after them this weekend. So I said sure.

Good luck guys! Be sure and post some pics if you have any luck. I wouldn't mind getting out one more time. Season ends Sunday here in Indiana, do this is it.
