Every year for the last three years two of my friends have put on a fishing tournament at Northview High School called the fishin extravaganza. I have competed in all three years of its existence and not once have I done well until now. This year my partner and I came in fourth place with a five fish limit of 11.12. The winners had a weight of 15 pounds. However I did win the biggest fish award with this 5 pound 7 ounce twenty two incher. It is always a blast and now that I'm going off to college I know that I am going to miss taking part in it every year. For the younger members I encourage you to talk to your friends and try to organize one of these, they are a ton of fun.

Many universities are not sponsoring fishing teams. try google-ing it for more info.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
