I went out sat. afternoon around 3:30 and sat up made a few soft yelps then waited. around 4:20 i called again and non a few min later i heard something comming up the hill. i saw that the bird had a beard and this is the second bird i had in range all season but i noticed that it didnt look like a tom or a jake. so i shot and she droped ran up there and by gosh it was a bearded hen weighed 11 pounds with an 8 in beard. ive never seen one before.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
