man o man come to michigan they r gobblin like crazy. Had 2 gobblers come in to range on thursday. 1st at about 8 or so and the 2nd at about 10 he strutted rite up to the decoys wit a jake and two hens. he was jerking his head to much for a comfortable shot tho cause he got nervous. Had one tom on friday at about 50 yrds but behind a deadfall. Stayed til this morning and had birds gobbling soooooooo much just crazy morning. finally had a big ol bird come in but stopped at 30 yrds behind a deadfall so my dad decided to shoot

hahajk but he missed and the bird ran away. then strted to leave and we were wlkin out wen i heard a bird gobble ahead of us so i called and he just hammered back so we set up but idk if he got freeked out or idk just never came and stopped gobbling. so goin back next friday. good luck

I dont think the season has heated up yet here.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
