Anyone else still deer hunting? The only season still open here in Indiana is late archery. I've still got my original archery tag from back in October and I'm determined to fill it before the season ends Sunday.

Well, my season went out with a fizzle tonight. Anyone else do any good? I seen a few does but they were way off, tried a few fawn bleats, but they just walked off. The season officially ended at 6:09 and right about that time I heard something walking towards me, by that time it was almost pitch dark. As I unknocked my arrow deer took off, they were right under me and I couldn't even see them! They ran off about 30 yds and started snorting at me as I was packing up my crap. That pretty much sums up how my season went.  |
