im off today to get a pitching flipping and frog rod gonna hit up Dick's and Gandger Mountain and see what i come u with ill post pics

ended up with an 8 ft skeet reese flipping and pitching rod a 201e shimano citica and 65 pound test red power pro i played around with it inside and pitched into a bucket but my ceiling is a little low so ill have to test it on the lake tommorow

you must be planning to pitch some jigs into some real slop with 65 pound test. sounds like a great rig tho. any chance to put a pic up?

yeah ill be using it for some slop fishing but mainly to flip around wood so wanted the heavy 65 lb but idk i pitched with it for about 2 hours today and found that the handle just wasnt that comfortable and the tip wasnt quite soft enough to really make a 1/2 ounce jig pitch really far so i might take it back and get the 7 foot heavy action veritas and see how that works since it has an extra fast tip compared to the medium fast tip on the skeet reese and would be better for frog fishing too well here is a pic Attachments:

looks good to me, ive never really pitched before, actually once i pitched wacky worms into some thick junk and it worked good.
