Monty just sent Chase a text with this pic. It's "toothy critter" caught from Kickapoo Lake at Shakamak today by Jake's dad. Looks to me like a chain pickerel but I'd never heard of anyone catching one out there before.

Just curious, are there any streams that feed that lake system? I thought maybe it was possible that they entered the lake that way. That's a young pickerel so some spawning must be taking place somewhere close

I was told that they stocked the lakes there and the ohio river with them in the 70s. not sure how true it is but that is what my boss told me today
