Went there today with Adam, and while we had to pack-up a little early when the rain moved in, at least we were there long enough for Adam to catch this very healthy looking 23 pounder! Best fish of the year so far for us. He used bread crumb and corn pack with Wacker pineapple corn pips on the hair. As per usual...I was chauffeur, net boy, caterer and photographer! But that's okay.

Here's what I've got: Fox Eclipse Pod. Alarms are Fox Micron Warriors Fox MK2 Swinger set Reels are D.A.M. Quick Finessa 965's Rods are Greys Prodigy SX 13ft. @ 3.5 lbs. test curve Line is 15lb. Berkley Trilene Carp mono. About $1200 for all of it, but I wanted it to last for at least several years, if not longer. Adam has the same reels and Chub Outcast rods at 12ft. @ 3.5 lbs. test curve. He has a B.F.S. pod and alarms. I'd highly recommend visiting Westside if you want to get started carp fishing. They're very knowledgeable and will make you the best deal you're going to get on this type of equipment. Thanks!
