G'day guys. I've been a bit slack on here lately, blame my job, keeps me too busy. Bought a new Tikka T3 lite last week in 300WIN MAG, she's a ripper. Mainly bought it for deer hunting, sambar deer mainly, but I am hunting in New Zealand in April for red stag and chamois so gonna take it too. I picked it up on saturday and shot it on sunday, Here's the first groups, not bad for a rifle just out of the box. Topped with a Leupold VXII 2-7x33 in Talley light weight mounts With Remington core-lokt 150 grainers And Norma 178 grainers Can't wait to get it out bush and stuck into some animals. Donk

Nice rifle, Donk! Glad to have ya back. Troy just mentioned Friday night that it had been awhile since we'd heard from ya. Looking forward to your report on the NZ hunt.

Sweet new rifle donk. We were worried that you got washed away in the floods.

Yeah, I'm still here guys, just don't have as much time on my hands as I did a few months ago. I do long stints at work out in the bush.
It's not a rubber worm Brad, that's a marker pen, the bottom half of a number 3, lol.
There will be fallow deer hunt report before my NZ trip Monty, can't wait for that either, hunting with my dad and brother. Neither of them have shot deer before, so should be good.
Didn't get washed away in the floods Troy, or the cyclone that hit yesterday, I'm guessing that it was on the news over there too.
From what I have seen of the US, you guys are stuck in a mega cold snow period, bbbrrrrr, too cold for me, it's 40 odd degrees here at the moment, about 110 Farenheit.
The new rifle is sweet. It's so light, it's gonna be a joy to carry around the field.
