Was just there last night fishing off the road. The bite was slow but some fish were caught. It will really pick up in Feb. we caught an average of 2 an hr with all but 2 being keepers. Caught 7

they won't let you launch if the wind is over 10MPH it is horrible. I have gotten caught in a storm twice on that lake and both times could not fight the waves with the tiny motor restrictions. Ended up staying it out washed up in cattails on the bank.

Its large but very shallow. Several spots on the lake even in the middle are only 2-3ft deep. If you don't know the channel it is hard to navigate a big boat across. The wind and shallow water makes for some big waves. I have went there on the calmest days to find the water there white capping. I honestly think the hot water is creating thermals that have something to do with the wind there also.

[/quote] You got a boat now  ,So you gone to make it  I got my boat gaskit geting fix & got a starter out now  ,but sent it off to get fix as well. Ill be making it to this event. |

I did finally get my '12 stickers, but the trailers gonna take a while yet. If my OT gets canceled for Monday I might be able to get it ready. |

Be nice to see some one i know there, Just took my boat out for the first time in a long time @ green vally & im ready. O ya im ready. &&&&& its geting warm out=camping/fishing soon spring is in the air....................................................Chase you ready to get that new boat slim up.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. Northeast wind between 5 and 11 mph.

Just another night at work for me and Monty will be back here again bright and early.
