Mom and Dad (crappielady & crappieman  ) are down in Florida and starting to catch a few. Mom with a nice mess from 1-4-11  Dad caught just one keeper this evening, but it was a dandy. It weighed 2.1, and was 15" long.  |

Dad got out on Dexter Saturday morning and only caught 5, but a couple were nice; 2 and 2.2 lbs. He entered both in the Astor big crappie contest for January, but the biggest is just 4th so far.   They disappointed some pelicans because they didn't clean any that day(they've been releasing any over 2 pounds.)  |
