Heres a few photos for ya Brian. These are just Preliminary photos of the begining of the process. I will post more as I go along, but it will be atleast a week untill my Hoppes Bluing Kit arrives. Here is my work area. I try to keep everything in order so I dont loose anything( atleast as much as possible). Everything laid out after a GOOD soak in a solvent/degreaser, and a GOOD scrub and Thorough wipe down. MOST of this is the action and Trigger assembly completely tore down, soaked, scrubed, and wiped. The Reciever body, Notice some heavy pitting up top. I still have a little work to do on this with the Wire wheel and Polishing wheel. Opposite side Alittle closer. Sorry bout the Glair. This wont be a HIGH $ Gun when its finished, but it is a special gift to me from my father in law, and who knows maybe one day, Me and the boys can go through and do it again.

Chase and me were driving around here scouting for some waterfowl and came up on this field and I said "LOOK AT ALL THOSE GEESE!" Chase drives up to the field and they aren't geese, they're TURKEYS! I counted 64, all hens. I guess someone told them season has ended. dang you guys must be loaded with turkeys hahaha hope you get one of those ol gobblin ones haha they are all prolly in a bachelor group right now

Thanks for the pics Anthony. I have never actually done a rebluing project, but have a gun that I would like to do it on. Watching you go through the process will probably get me to finally do it. I'm interested to see how the Hoppe's kit does as opposed to the other one you used.

like I said before, I used the Birchwood and Casey kit from walmart once on a air rifle, and I was NOT pleased. THATS not to say I did'nt do something right. I was alot younger at the time, and VERY easily could have skipped a step. I just dont wanna take any chances, and I know Hoppes puts out good products, so I chose them. CONGRATS on the turkey find guys!

hey troy you killed sme birds with a HR pardner 20 guage havent ya?how the heck do you get a choke tube for one? It's actually a Topper model. No choke tube; the barrel is modified choke and shoots the 3" Winchester Supremes in #5 shot great. Chase and me are 4 for 4 on turkeys with this gun. We were in the Terre Haute walmart the other day and they had the Winchester Supremes on clearance. Guess they're making room for the new ones that will be soon to arrive. Like I say in the video, you don't need a 1000 dollar gun to kill a turkey.

I'm not exactly ready yet, I still have work to do on the BPS, and I also started re-doing a Mossberg 395KB with C-LECT choke. I have'nt COMPLETELY decided on which one I'm gonna use, and I still need to go pick a few things up from gander.
