Met up with some buddies for a rabbit hunt today. We ended up killing four. I got two, Hank two and my buddy Darin's Ruger 10-22 jammed when he tried to load his first round in the chamber. He took one shot with my rifle and missed. Here is Hank and a couple dogs with his second rabbit. That's my young dog Chubbs with the green collar. Here I am with my first rabbit. I only took two of my dogs today because yesterday my other two spent about two hours in an oak tree. They ran the rabbit in a hole in the tree and followed it in. It took about two hours to get them out. Thankfully neither dog appears to be hurt eventhough it was a very tight fit. Especially being drug out backwards by the hind legs when I finally got ahold of them.

Looks like fun! Chubbs is a looker. Glad your other dogs are ok.

cograts man. we went out the first sunday of the new year and killed 22. 15 came from a spot less than an acer. So when the dogs run a rabbit they jump 3 up besides the 1their running so they got confused so we put them back in the truck and walked out the thicket/woods.
