Finally got a chance to hit the brush for some quail. A buddy of mine with a couple of nice dogs came over and we hit some of my properties. Got into 1 covey at my house and killed a few. Could have been a slaughter but we have to leave some for seed. Went to my father-in-laws and found two big bunches. At least 12 in both. finished out my limit there. We found two big groups there about 3 years ago and not much the last two years. Glad to see they are back. There are a couple of poor pix on the contest page.

Way to go. I am going to try my hand at Quail and Phesant next season. a new "Game Preserve" just opened up here in Clay County. Its only for Birds, and the prices are'nt THAT bad, so I figgured I would Break out a Side X Side and try em out next year.

I'm glad to hear that there's still enough birds around to get a limit. Congrats! I usually kick up a covey around here once or twice a year, but haven't seen them in a while. Maybe it has something to do with that big pussy cat Chase saw??

Anthony I just got there website online yesterday... www.prairiegrovehuntingpreserve.com It is a top notch establishment and a great time. I plan on getting a group together before season goes out and heading down there for some videoing. Jonboy, nice job, finding a good covey in Indiana is getting hard to do.
