i got a new trail cam can anyone tell me what to put in front of it

a deer. I put mine on a tree around 15 feet away from a trail. I try to get it pointing to the east and I dont get any falls pictures (the camera will see the shadows moving and take pictures thinking it is something walking in front of it.

Salt lick or a good trail. But I usually point mine north so morning and evening pics won't be blurred.

I dump corn and molasses in front of mine and see tons of deer

A guy told me to screw the lid of a peanut butter jar to a tree then screw the jar back on the lid. Then cut the bottom part out and they go crazy. When the jar is empty leave the lid and put a new jar on the same lid.

i did that a coon took the thing of peanut butter off of the tree
