Me and my ice fishing buddy had a good evening on the ice. We started by drilling 2 holes over a brush pile in a channel and fished for about 15 mins and caught several undersized fish. We decided to move up the channel towards the main lake and drilled one hole each. My buddies hole was about 1.5' deeper than mine and he was really catching the heck out of them and was marking many more fish than me on the flasher. I caught a couple keepers and then decided to drill a different hole in a little deeper water. As soon as I dropped my transducer in the hole I was marking tons of fish. I ended up getting 10 keepers in about 20 minutes before it got dark and the bite shut off. I ended up with 12 keepers. My buddy had 23 with 3 nice crappie. Pretty good outing for an hour of fishing.

YEA, Some NICE FISH! I'm still waiting on my replacement blades to come in. I went out yesterday, and felt VERY comfortable. The ice on MY pond is thick enough to fish, so I know a few other ponds around here that will be ready. Still waitin a while for the big ones to freeze though.
