Heres the story!! I got in the woods late so i thaught that might have affected my hunt, i was huntin from the ground on the side of a huge stripper hill, at about 8:30 i saw him come to the edge and he looked around for a second and started walking off soooo... i got my gun up and shot even though it was a tough shot, i shot and thaught i missed cause i he didnt jerk and i didnt find any blood where he was shot,,, i decided to start walking his trail and about 30 yds off i saw a white belly i give special thanks to Chase for letting me use his gun and also guttin this ol' boy

Way to go Jace!!!! I remember my first buck like it was yesterday. It was a fork horn like yours if it had the other half. I knew you would get something over there. I remember trapping your grandpa's for muskrat years ago and thinkning a guy could kill a good deer over there. Glad you did!!!!

Thanks !! i didnt know you used to trap that land.... but yah there are some nice bucks out there but a guy told me they were thinned out pretty good since they started the state park hunts ... and if you know that land as good as i do, i bet you can imagine what its like pullin a deer out of there by hand
