Started off in the ground blind this morning as it was snowing pretty hard. Was very comfortable but didn't see a darn thing. Then went to some public land, spotted a doe bedded down across a strip pit, did a stalk on her, got within 30 yds but it was so thick we couldn't see her, she jumped up and bolted.

Went behind mom and dad's for a little still hunt, had a couple does come in the woods. I had Chase and the does in the camera, but Chase had gotten a little out of position for a shot.

Empty handed again. I'm gettin frustrated.

Well, Chase got off a shot at a doe. We checked the footage and not positive that she was hit. :-/

He took the shot right around sunset so we've come home for supper then are going back out with better lights and see if we can find anything. Hopefully I'll have something to post in a little while. 8-)

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
