I'm getting the muzzleloader ready right now and Chase is gonna try to pop a doe on video tonight. I'll probably bring my bow in case the turkeys show up.

Good luck anthony! We didn't even see a squirrel this evening. We're now trying to decide what to hunt tomorrow morning. Chase is leaning towards deer and yotes and I'm thinking ducks and geese.

I plan to go for deer, though if i dont get one in the morning, I may go over to staunton an try for some yotes. Still waitin for my new audio amp to come in for my yote call, so IF I go it will be back to basics.

GRRRR! I got busted out this morning. Had one (idk if it was a buck or doe) walk right under me this morning. Too dark to tell gender, but i had its outline. Ended up about 30 or so yds from me, and it seemed like it was going to bed down. It hung around for about 25 minutes, and RIGHT BEFORE sun-up, it got wind of something it did'nt like, and BOLTED! I dont know if it was me it smelled or not, but last night i sent washed ALL my gear. and SPRAYED EVERYTHING AND MYSELF down. After that one bolted, I saw 2 does about 10 minutes later. they were off to my right and about 45 yds or so in the woods. NO WAY i could have got a shot. I guess it just goes to show, no matter how much you prepare, you can NEVER REALLY outsmart them!

Just got back in the house. Saw a flock of turkey fly down. Saw a ton of tree rats but not one deer. Man that wind is brutal.
