well, what fps are you shooting? i shot a pieco of plywood with rage 40ke at the recommended ke and it didn't penetrate past the blades. i think that the 2 blade is ok if you have high enough fps (or ke) i still don't now if i would recomend shooting the shoulder though. i dont like the 3 blade at all because people seem to have problems getting it to open right. if you shoot a high fps, rage is a good broadhead

thats iffy but i would stick to some fixed blades though, magnus stinger buzzcuts, nap hell razors, g5 stingers and or montecs are all good ones.

might try that.My cousin has a freind and he shot through both sholders of a hog with a rage 2 blade 125 grain

ya they are killer if you have enough fps (the 2 blade. you might have the fps i would get some and try it on a ply wood or something

I know a dude who shot a deer with a rage expandalbe blade and it didn't expand.

I know of several instances where they didn't expand, but that is a chance you take with any expandable. My main beef with the rage is the tip design. that tip if it hits bone at an angle will deflect away. I like a good chisel tip that will penetrate. My favorite designs are the G5 T3's and the Grim Reapers. The T3's will still cut'em good if they do fail to open, and they are made strong unlike others.
