The boys and I fished all day long yesterday at the park on Sylvan Lake, and as far as carp were concerned, we only got one run resulting in one fish. Which was rather disappointing of course, but that's how this goes sometimes. Seems that since August the fishing has generally been pretty slow everywhere in Indiana. Perhaps due to lack of any significant rain to oxygenate the water? Here's the lone 13lbs. fish I caught yesterday: When Adam blanks...it's gotta be BAD!

When Adam blanks...it's gotta be BAD! No kidding!! At least you guys didn't get totally skunked. I agree on the oxygented water. The fish are struggling right now. We need a good soaker!
