No Idea, but a make and model would help. If you CAN find out a make and model on it, Let me know, I have a copy of Blue Book of Gun Values, and maybe we can find out what its worth.

DANG BOY, YOUR A HOSS!!! From the way it looks, you have a factory model 37 with a custom barrel. here is what i found in the blue book, I will let you determine the condition and value of the weapon.

yea but we dont think the barrel is wide enough for slugs. not for sure if its even in shootable condition atm. im taking it to a gun shop tomorrow to have it checked if it can use slugs or even be shot for that matter.

They are called an "metro" gun. They are used for waterfowl and small game in urban areas so not to spook the neighborhood. Shoot it and you will see they are a lot quieter than a normal shotgun due to the longer barrel. I have heard of deer hunting with em, but I couldn't imagine maneuvering such a beast. Most are 5ft extensions that screw into the choke threads, yours seems to be a custom barrel which I imagine would make it worth a lil more than an extension.

I saw a duck hunting show on the Outdoor Channel where all the guys were using shotguns similar to that one. I didn't know what they were used for until Posieden answered.
