3 days! I figured it took longer. Sam said you guys ate some of it and he LOVED it.

Troy, we do the same thing to the bucks we harvest, you take the hide of the head and then you get a big pot and fill it with water then you get the water boiling and cover the antlers in tape and some kind of bag to prevent the pot from buring the antler and you put the head in the water and boil the flesh off it takes about one full day to do but its worth it

p.s. it dosent smell the best

I thought it would take longer too. I just rubbed some steaks down with creole seasoning and broiled them in the oven. Pretty tasty! Would have fired up the grill, but it was 20 deg. out.

Good luck! If Sam's home have him tape it. Something's better than nothing. Dad has to work tomorrow so I'll be in our stand in the morning. But that's ok, we saw a monster today.
