i wont bcamp anyway today was prolly the worst day ive ever had at the private lake the visibility in the water was about 2 feet and the fish just werent hitting i fished for 2 hours and 20 minutes and only caught 4 fish all on wacky worms and had one get off at the boat on a crankbait the bluegill are still on the nest and the catalpa trees are packed with catalpa worms so i might give that a try

well, me and my buddy justin (YJGUY as he's known here on the site) went out today to do a little bass fishin. started off here at my house, then went down to a family pond. caught all the fish in the pics at my house. when we were at butche's i was usein a brokeback rapala, that i'd been slayin bass with for the past few weeks, and somethin huge hit it. i was on the water in a little 10 footer, and this thing was strippin drag when IT wanted to, and pullin me everywhere for about 15 minutes. now remember, we were bass fishing, so i got my mitchel rod/reel combo with 8 lb test. i get the fish to the boat, and its about a 15 lb channel!!! right when i start to put my hand in his mouth he breaks the line and swims off with my lure!!! F- ER!!!! I WAS HOTT!!!  I look up and Justin's standin on the bank laughin! o well, I'll get him someday.        |

That's a great story anthony!  Good luck on that ol' cat. Maybe he'll still have your bait in his mouth whey ya get 'em.  Those are some nice catches too! |

yea, i would have loved to get him in the boat. he was HUGE for a channel round here. good thing is, its a family pond, so i've ALWAYS got permission to fish it!

that one bass is really a great fish i havent been doing to well recently this rain has turned the pond into pea soup and the hot hot weather is turning over alot of the bottom so its pretty tough

yeah brian i got skunked one day cuz we had to leave cuz of storms in like 15 minutes then two days ago i fished and caught only one and one got off
