We've been camping at Patoka for the past few days. It was flat out miserable it was so hot. We took our Grandpa's and Crappielady's boat but did more swimming than fishing from it.
The first night I left some poles out. One with chicken liver and the other Grandpa's Secret Catfish Bait. In the morning, the one with Grandpa's had a fish on it. I reeled it up, and once it got closer I saw that was a carp. That's a first on Grandpa's Secret Catfish Bait!! I was getting it up to shore and it straightened the hook and got off. So no picture of it. It was probably over 10 lbs.
We went catfishing the last night and caught 2 small cats and a softshell turtle. here's the pics:

. Those carp were big but you should see em at indiana beach theres about a 80 pounder you can see 
Just another night at work for me and Monty will be back here again bright and early.
