Got in the blind at 6:50, ten minutes before shooin time. Once I got in the blind it was raining pretty hard. In the dark, I got all setup. Camera was set up perfect, the calls were out. By then it was 7:00 so I loaded the gun. The first shot was fired at 7:10, followed by another shot, and then another in the next ten seconds. I Sat there til a little after 11:00 o'clock and saw nothing but a squirrel hiding under it's tail to get out of the rain himself . Still raining, I got out of the blind and went home. Of course it's pooring down by the time I'm walking a cross the field . That's the first time ,since I've been hunting, I haven't saw anything opening morning . Not as many shots as usual were shot either. Mom is gonna go take us to eat and I'll probably go back out. It's stopped raining, wish me luck!

Thanks for the update. Be careful out there. Maybe you should bring an extra orange hat and put it on top of the ground blind, just in case some nut comes through our woods?
