last time was a good trip with around 30 fish in two hours with one at 10 inches and 9 ounces this time ill take pics just for yall to have something to look at the gills and hybrids are on the beds still and hitting crickets worms and salmon eggs seriously try salmon eggs on the beds the fish hate a new egg falling into their nest that isnt theirs

best fish of the trip at 10 inches ran the drag pretty good i thought he was bigger they get real strong at this size Attachments:

Nice catch's,never heard of using eggs from other fish or ever thought of that. I will have to give it a try next year when the gills are on their beds. Thanks for the tip.

the eggs do work i never really planned to use them i had them leftover from trout fishing in michigan and ran out of worms for bluegills and started throwing the eggs and they just cream em ive still been catching them in open water with the eggs just i dont think it will catch more than worms or crickets but the catalpa worms are on the catalpa trees at the lake i fish so ill be using them soon
