This buck decided he'd head to town to find him a woman yesterday!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked out into my back yard to let the dog out early this afternoon. There was a doe standing about 20 yards away from me in my neighbors yard right up against my fence. I quickly got the dog back in the house and started looking around for the buck. There he was just off to her right. I watched from inside for about 5 minutes as the grazed, but I wanted to get a better look at the him because he was behind some trees. I walked right outside and about 10 yards from the buck. He was a mainframe 8 pointer with a split brow tine and a kicker coming off his g2! This all occured in downtown Bloomington. There are no woods within at least a half of mile of my house. I couldn't believe how stupid this buck was acting, I just wish I saw him out in the woods. I have passed up many bucks this season, but I would have let one fly at him for sure.
