The raspberries are ready guys. Willy and I picked about 4 cups today (after he had eaten his share.) My wife put together a raspberry pie, one of mine and the boys favorites. She claims it is very simple.
1/4 cup sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 cup water 1 package (3oz) raspberry gelatin 4 cups fresh raspberries 1 graham cracker or shortbread crust (Kelley likes the shortbread best) Whipped cream
In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water until smooth; bring to a boil, stiring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin until dissolved. Cool for 15 minutes. Place rasperries in the crust. Pour gelatin mixture over the berries. Chill for 3 hours. Add desired amount of whipped topping. Enjoy.
I would have added a picture of what my youngest son (age 1) looked like after eating his piece but my oldest son (age 5) managed to destroy our camera.

Sounds real good! I seen some ripe ones along the yard while mowing today. I guess Will's getting you a new camera for Father's Day?

That pie wouldn't last a second with me and Troy around ! You might want to have the camera ready when me and him start digging in!
