Got this one here while back fishing.Just had 10 lb test and it took about 55 minutes to get it in.It was a frisky cat lol! Attachments:

That's a GREAT catch!! I have'nt targeted flatheads in years, other than having a couple rods out with live bluegill at the sandbar. We planning on going after some of these bigguns this summer, so any advice would be appreciated.

Live gills,Sunfish,and live shad and a lot of paients sometimes is the key and target the log jams and dropoffs.Sometimes live crawlers can work better than anything That's if other fish aren't around to nab um

Hey Troy..i've caught lots of flats in ponds, rivers, and paylakes. biggest being 50lbs. i've done best using bluegill heads, chub minnows (live, or just their heads), goldfish (live or cut).. hope you catch some this year!
