Wednesday evening, my wife said she wanted to have burgers on the grill. As much as I love a good grilled burger, I was kind of ho-hum about it since it doesn't offer me something challenging, new and exciting to try out. Then I got to thinking...what can I do to kick these burgers up a notch? Some ideas popped into my head and here is what I came up with... I took a couple strips of bacon and chopped them up real fine, chopped up a fresh jalapeno (I removed the seeds for the family but would've preferred to keep them in for the heat), chopped one clove of garlic very fine and cut a 1/4" thick slice off a large onion and chopped it very fine. I added all of this to 1.5 lbs of 90/10 ground beef, about a tablespoon of montreal steak seasoning, and a dash of sea or kosher salt. Mixed all real well and formed into 4 nice sized patties. YUM!YUM!YUM! These things were mighty tasty! I wished I had made more 'cuz everyone wanted more. I believe the bacon was the secret ingredient to put these over the edge

Those are definitely not "boring burgers."

Thanks for the link Chase! I will be stocking up on stuff soon. BTW, you need to put a link to this somewhere on the top of the forum so more people know about it (if you want people to have this stuff)

BTW, you need to put a link to this somewhere on the top of the forum so more people know about it (if you want people to have this stuff) We have the link all over bellbucksnbeards.com and I've posted it on here a couple times. We've held off from doing a lot of advertising because we're not totally satisfied with cafepress. I ordered 2 shirts, a hat, and the apron a while back, the "value" shirt was perfect, the more expensive shirt and hat they'd misplaced the front logo a little, and the apron looked good except for a big ink spot. With cafepress we just upload graphics and trust them to do a good job. Don't always happen. One of these days we're going to have our own stuff made and done right!

After I made the comment about the link to the apparrel, I realized on the home page it was on there. I haven't scrolled down that main page in a while and then once I saw it I remembered seeing it awhile back. Sorry about the little brain fart I had there!

If you have a printer, buy some white tees and some transfer paper for the printer, and do the appearal your selves. wont bother us none.
