After school this evening me and Dad went up the road and bass fished Midland Lake, part of Hillenbrand. Dad started out bluegill fishing but we didn't see many nests and he didn''t catch one gill. I caught around 10 bass and Dad caught around 5. The biggest was a little over 15", we caught a bunch of dinks. Video coming soon! 8-)

Do you guys fish Midland often? I've never fished it but have thought about it many times. I talked to a couple of old timers a few years back that were just coming off the lake and they had one of the best baskets of crappie I have ever seen! I'd like to give it try sometime

It does have a lot of downed trees from the beaver that look like they would be good crappie spots. Might have to give that a try.
