I've caught carp on bread, nightcrawler, and corn. I've never used any fancy rigs or anything, but that may be the reason I don't catch many. I've caught them tightlining, using a bobber, and just a hook and throwing it out.

Carp fishing is addicting! I have been after one for three years and have yet to land one. I have hooked them just never landed one. I like to try making different baits. there are a lot of sites. just type "carp bait recipies" in google. Maybe brutom will give you some tips. he is always posting great carp pics

Here's a great place to pick-up all kinds of carp fishing information: indianacarptalk.invisionzone.com/I'd agree that canned sweetcorn must certainly be the most popular bait over all. Good Luck!

I've also found that smashing a couple of cloves of fresh garlic and throwing them in the corn can help, too
