Owen County Strip Pit 5-15-10

We're real slow at work and they're offering extra days off, so I decided to take one today. I'm glad I did too because Dad called this morning and wanted to go over to the "honey hole," a private pit a buddy of Dad's owns over in Owen County. Dad and me were in the 2 man and Chase was in his kayak. The bluegill and redear are on the nests and we were catching a fish on just about every cast. For quite a while my bobber wouldn't set for 10 seconds before it'd go under. We ended up cleaning 37 and threw about 15 big ones in our pond. We only fished about 2 hours because of the dang rain that we weren't suppose to get!






We were fishing with worms about 18 inches below a float. Didn't get enough footage for a video, right when I decided to quit fishing and just run the camera, the rains came.
