With a gradual sloping bottom and close proximity to the Reef Complex, the waters near Crane Creek are an ideal area for post spawn walleye to congregate and for walleye fishermen to enjoy some Erie walleye fishing at it's best. Two times today we had four "walleye on" at once and I was asked if we had a "third" landing net. I could only smile...the crew and I knew this was a special day indeed! I had the opportunity to fish with some excellent walleye fishermen this weekend...Feathercast, High Tide, Superseal, Fergie, and FISHAHOLIC-19 to name just a few. Although, the wind blew hard at times....25-30 mph, the fish didn't seem to mind. Green and black were consistent producers, along with the "hot" color today..."slurple"....thanx Doug and Bret...it worked just fine. It was fun and the comaradie with friends can't be beat. Tight lines.... Capt. Rick

Capt. Rick is da man! He had us on fish all day. If you ever have a opportunity to fish on the Erie Quest do it! You won't be disappointed! This was the second time I've had a chance to fish with Capt. and both times were a BLAST. Can't wait to get out with ya again Capt. either on the Erie Quest or on the ice.
