Great Job Chase. Thats a nice gobbler. Congrats. You should think about doing a video on how to clean it for turkey beginners like me.

Way to go Chase! Nice job on the self filming. On film that shot looked like it was a mile away, how far was it? I love the intro to the video, too.
BTW, Four Way Bridge Bait Shop has the best motto. "Eat here and get worms". I've bought alot of bait there over the years.

Congrats again Chase! That was a neal nice bird. It's too bad he did his death flop in a mud hole or the pictures would have been a lot better. Like Chase said; "We're eatin good tonight boys!" I brined half the breast overnight and it's going on the smoker here in a little bit. Now it's Booey and Catfishsam's turn! (Maybe I'll even get lucky. : It was also VERY cool of the couple who own 4-Way Bridge to stay open for us to come down and check in the bird.

I got set up around 5 in the evening. It had bean a really tough and frustrating season so far. The toms seem to care less about a decoy or us calling. They actually seem to avoid the decoys. So I decided I would just deer hunt them. No decoys out and no calling. I wasn't setup for a half hour or so and look over my shoulder and a tom was looking at me through the finger of woods I was sitting on. He had already busted me and he ran off. The gnats were BAD. But I was toughing it out and wanted to sit as long as I could. Finally at 7 pm, a hen comes to the field 30 yds from me. She was acting funny, walking at a good pace. She was out there for maybe a minute when I see the tom come out at the same spot the hen did. Like a buck on a hot doe, the hen was the only thing on his mind. I switched on the camera and clicked the safety off on the Benelli and the next place he was going was the smoker! It was a 30-35 yd shot.

I'm about ready to give up hunting (not really though)...so far no deer, no waterfowl, last week i went to a spot with a guy who was about 90% sure we'd get one. Didn't here or see a bird. my other hunt last week my alarm clock broke but i went ahead and got out. Birds were everywhere so i set up and obviously they didn't come in. During youth the birds were all henned up.
