I'm sure not many of you young punks on here are readers, but in case a few of you are, I have a good book to recommend. 
I was surfing around on catfish1.com one day when I noticed a members signature line that read - Greg Schwipps - Author of What This River Keeps with a link to his website; www.gregschwipps.com/
I went to the site and read some of the reviews and a little bit about Greg. Ok, here's an author from Indiana who's a catfisherman. I have GOT to get this book! I ordered it right then.
The novel is about a rural southern Indiana family facing the possibility of losing their homestead through an act of eminent domain for the building of a reservoir.
The author writes with such detail that you can hear the mosquito's buzzing on the river bank and taste the dust as you travel down a gravel road. The characters are so real that, especially for someone from southern Indiana, you'll swear you know some of these people. You might even see yourself in some of these characters.
I usually pass on books once I finish them, but this one is finding a permanent spot on my shelf along with the James Alexander Thom's, Larry McMurtry's, Ernest Hemingway's, and John Steinbeck's.
