First shoot of the year I'm goin to will be the Marked Yardage Opener @ Nancy's Broken Arrow on The weekend of the 26-27. Its a great shoot, with about 42 Lifesize targets to shoot, a snack shack where you can get breakfest, and lunch and swap scores and stories, and a great groupe of people. I hope to see some of you guys there. If anyone needs directions, or just wants more info, feel free to ask about it. good lck and shoot straight fellers!!

Anybody heading to Nancys or Boars Nest this weekend. I haven't decided which one I'll be going to yet. I probably need to go by and say hi to Jen and Josh at Boars Nest so I most likely will be going there. Josh may have some videos for me to pick up.

Well, we went down to Nancy's Broken Arrow today to do a 3D soot. Turned out pretty great. Bob and Nancy had 41 targets setup, shoot all and drop your worst. My good friends Tony and Mark (owner of The Archery Outlet shop in staunton) were with me. Tony was shootin his Comp 09 Darton, I was shootin the 07 Darton Marauder, and mark was shootin his new 2010 Darton Pro 3800. I ended up shootin 332, mark got 413 and tony didnt add his scores up.. we had a blast. It was'nt too bad except for thebright sun and a little hot. heres some pics. if you aint been to Nancy's, you need to try to go. ITS GREAT! Heres Tony Mark pullin arrows outta the 15 foot or so "ALIEN", shot him at about 55 yds. Little vendor stand a guy had up. Mostly looked like recurve and longbow stuff so i didnt pay too much attention to it. Heres the pond. if you look out in the water, theres a floating frog only bout a foot and a half to two feet tall, that was a fun target. Sittin at the snack shack half way through. "Did I get an 11?!" The Datron Pro 3800. Man that sucker is SWEET! Marks allready sold 14 This year!!!! All and all we had a great time. go check it out. If anyone wants marks info for the shop, here it is. Archery Outlet 606 w. Polk st. Box 187 Staunton, In. 47881 812 448 3758 812 442 9035 Go down, tell mark I sent ya. He'll do ya right, and you wont find better prices, QUALITY, or Service.

Great report Anthony!! I love that alien, bet I could even hit that.(Probably not at 55 yds though. ) We'll have to get the boys together and meet over there some time. I'm not wanting to touch my bow right now because of some shoulder pain. (Guess I should see the Doc. ) But I'd love to follow you guys around with the video camera!

(4 on 4 off) Mark really only gets to shoot on hollidays cause of work and the shop, but im sure Tony would go, and maybe even YJGUY. you just let me know when, and we'll get togeather.

Nancys is a great course. Man Anthony you shoot with some tough talent shooting with Mark. I think I am too competitive to shoot with him, I like to have a chance at winning. I had to work this weekend for the Fun Shoot, but my cousin went, I heard it was another good one. I also get weekends off here in a couple weeks, hopefully we can get together and shoot. Troy you and the boys are welcome to shoot with me anytime. I will confess though I shoot hunter stake, I don't shoot at deer past 40 so I don't see the need to practice it.
