....aka Man Food. I got this off the indianafishin site and I'm gonna make it this weekend. Beans....mmmmmmmm.......... very simple recipe but it tastes great here it goes. texas baked beans 1lb bacon fried and crumbled 1 large onion diced 1lb hamburger fried and drained 1 can of garbonzo beans drained and rinsed 1 can butter beans drained and rinsed 1can kidney beans drained and rinsed 1 can of pork and beans not drained just open up and dump it in 1 can of black beans drained and rinsed 3/4 cup of brown sugar 3/4 cup of ketchup commbine all ingrediants in a crock pot give it 3 or 4 hours on low and then enjoy. this is really good on fritoes its one of my favorite man foods beans and meat yummy Monty - I'll be sure Sam has a big bowl before we send him home Sunday!

Sorry, but I was ready to take him back before we left Terre Haute. He loves him some sliders, woohoo! I got all the stuff this evening to make this. The only thing I'm doing different is using deer burger that I browned and it's in the crock pot now with half the onion and a can of beef broth. Kim thinks she does'nt like deer burger, but if I cook it with beef broth she thinks she's eating beef.

It turned out pretty good. I didn't use the full 3/4 cup of brown sugar and it was still a little sweet. I think I'll use about a 1/4 cup if I make it again. I had it over corn chips with a little sour cream on top.

hell, sounds like it would be good just the way it is, eatin it by the bowl. maybe some cornbread.
