Well I went up to the Deer and Turkey expo today with the wife and kids. Did'nt get to spend much time or see much cause the boys were in one of their moods, but thats ok. I did happen to see Mr. Byron Ferguson though. He did a little show for the audiance. I also finally got my 2003 buck scored, so im happy about that. Let me warn you before hand if you decide to go, LOTS and LOTS of people. and i mean LOTS!!! You move at a speed of about 1/2 a step every 2 or 3 seconds. other than that not bad. LOTS of Gear, and NICE DEER!!! There are 3 photos of Byron at the link below. viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=160978221&albumID=491312&imageID=42379527

It is a good show but with all the people it can make for a miserable day. >:(I quit going a few years back b/c you couldn't really see all you wanted to see.

Glad you had a good time Anthony. I just didn't want to fight those crowds this year. Did Byron Ferguson ever miss?? I wonder sometimes how much editing goes on when your watching those crazy shots on tv. btw - What did your deer score?

The key to the expo is to get there Friday when the doors open, you will have about 3 hours of nice easy walking and looking around before the crowds come. I refuse to go on Sat. or Sun. because of the crowds. They need to get a bigger building it has grown too much for that Toyota building.
I also watched Byron, he missed once during his first show friday and that was shooting a moving lifesaver candy that was thrown in the air. He split it in half on his second attempt.
I also got to meet and watch Chuck Adams and that in its self was amazing. Since I was a little boy I have watched and read Chucks adventures and to hear about them in person was wonderful. First time in my life I have been star struck.
