Does any know of a link that I can get property information for Orange County, Indiana. Trying to find out who owns a field next to the public ground I hunt.

There is a surveying website you can find but it is EXPENSIVE. I would find a plat book for that county. If you get one that is 2yrs old they are free!

You'll probably have to get a plat book, like Kyle said. I bought one for Greene County last year that was 2 years old. It wasn't free, but for $10 it was a lot less than a new one and just as accurate. Maybe you can get lucky and find someone who has the book that will look it up for you.

If you pm me a pic of the location, I could probably get the info for you from the County Surveyor's Office.

Plat book is definately the way to go. It's worth the $10-$20 to have as a reference. You can call the county courthouse and have one mailed to you if you don't live close.

i'm not sure, but i think you can go up to your local courthouse and get the info. other than that, i'm no too sure. yu can allways wait till planting season, and ask whoever is farming it who owns it.
